On 7 October 2017, UNAMID Joint Special Representative, Jeremiah Mamabolo, visited Zalingei, Central Darfur, where he met with the Wali (Governor), Mr. Jaffer Abdul Hakam, and discussed the opening of a temporary operating base in Golo as part of the Mission’s ongoing reconfiguration.
