On 4 November 2019, UNAMID Joint Special Representative (JSR), Jeremiah Mamabolo met with Sudan Chief Justice, Ms. Nemat Abdullah at her Office in Khartoum and congratulated her on her recent appointment as the first female to hold this most senior position in Sudanese Judiciary. Ms. Abdullah thanked UNAMID for the support the Mission continued to extend to the Sudanese Judiciary through training and support in establishing rural courts in remote areas in Darfur.
