29 December; UNAMID Human Rights Section jointly with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development organized a consultation workshop on integrating women’s rights issues and concerns in the legal reform process of the Sudan transition agenda. The workshop held in Khartoum and attended by representatives from the Ministries of Justice, Defence and Interior as well as Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Commission, civil society and academic institutions, is part of the Mission’s “Sudan in Transition” support initiative.
