Closure of UNMIL

The United Nations Mission in Liberia was established in October 2003 to support for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement and peace process, and to assist with the maintenance and restoration of law and order throughout Liberia. The mission successfully completed its mandate on 30 March 2018.

<p>The program featured the following:<br /><strong>Rev. John Sumo</strong>-Health Promotion Director/Ministry of Health talks about<em> the Social Mobilization Strategy for addressing the cluster of health problems in Sinoe County</em>; <strong>Ambolai Mamey</strong>-Communication Officer/National Oil Company of Liberia-NOCAL speaks about <em>NOCAL&rsquo;s support to efforts in boosting mental health services</em>; and<strong> Emmanuel Wheinyue</strong>-Communication Officer /National Decentralization Implementation Secretariat, Ministry of Internal Affairs provides updates to the public about<em> progress being made by the Bong County Service center in its first year of operations</em>.</p>
