Acting Police Commissioner:Sultan Temuri (Pakistan)

Mr..Sultan Azam Temuri belongs to the prestigious Police Service of Pakistan

He has completed 29 years of service and has commanded different Police Organizations in Pakistan. He remained Regional Police Officer in two largest ranges in Pakistan and has remained as Inspector General of Police in Islamabad Capital Territory Police where he established have established Anti-riot Unit, Counter Terrorism Force and Violence against Women and Child Protection Center. He established model Police stations in Islamabad and introduced Neighborhood Watch Program as a community policing project.

He has served in United Nations Peace Keeping Missions in Europe and Africa. He was in Croatia from 1994 to 1995 during peak days of conflict in Balkans. In post Dayton accord period, he again served in UN Mission in Bosnia Herzegovina from 2000 to 2001 as Human Rights Officer in Main HQ in Sarajevo.

He received the prestigious Gold Medal (CROIX D’ HONNEUR POLICER EUROPE’EN) on 04-04-2004 for outstanding performance during his UN Mission in Bosnia Herzegovina. He served in United Nations African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) from 2009 to 2011 as Chief Darfur Peace Agreement (DPA) Implementation Coordinator/Deputy Sector Commander in Sector West.
